Chevalier Richard E. Palumbo,
Esq., KCTJ
Chevalier Richard E. Palumbo, Esq. was knighted by H.E.
Brigadier General Chevalier Patrick Edward Rea, GCTJ, GMTJ,
Grand Prior XIII (now Grand Commander of Ordo Supremus
Militaris Templi Hierosolymitani), at a Grand Convent
held in May 2003 at the Princeton Club, New York City.
Chevalier Palumbo was a recipient of the Meritorious Service
Medal, awarded on November 20, 2004. He was promoted to
Knight Commandeur by Deputy Grand Prior, Colonel Chevalier
Wayne J. McGrath, GCTJ, GMTJ, on November 19, 2005. Both
events were held at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue.
Mr. Palumbo grew up in Sleepy Hollow, New York. He was
educated at the Hackley School in Tarrytown, New York,
received an A.B. from the
University of Chicago,
Chicago, Illinois, in Political Science, and a J.D. from
St. John's University School of Law,
Jamaica, New York.
Mr. Palumbo is Of Counsel to the law firm Ellenoff Grossman
& Schole, New York City.
Mr. Palumbo is a member of Independent Royal Arch Lodge No.
2, F.A.& M., New York City.
